    Description: 
    A young, barefoot girl sits on a rock singing, with a small bird perched on her proper right knee. A squirrel sits on its haunches on the girl's proper left leg and a rabbit cuddles near the girl, on her proper right. The girl has her long hair held back in a pony-tail and wears a mid-calf length dress. The sculpture is set in an atrium.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was commissioned for the Center by the Carl John Aldenhoven family in 1966. The original was cast by Roman Bronze Works. A limited edition of copies were commissioned in 1986 by Mr. & Mrs. Larry D. Eason for the Child Study Center's 25th Anniversary, cast by the Hoka Hey Fine Arts Foundry in Dublin, Texas. IAS files contain a pamphlet from the Child Study Center entitled "A Song, by Evaline Clarke Sellors."
