Dimensions:  Sculpture: approx. 14 ft. x 82 in. x 22 in.; Base: approx. 68 in. x 164 in. x 7 ft. (25,000 lbs.). Inscription:  (On lower back of each angel and on crucifixion scene:) Chicago New York/ORBRONZE/Daprato Statuary Co (On metal plaque on left bottom of altar:) DESIGNED AND BUILT BY/BIRKMEIR & SONS/FT. WAYNE IN (On front of altar:) PRAY.FOR.ALL.THE.SOULS.OF.THE.FAITHFUL.DEPARTED (In circle flanked by Alpha and Omega symbols:) ihs unsigned Founder's mark appears. Description:  A crucifixion scene consisting of Christ crucified on the cross with a scroll tacked to the cross above his head reading "INRI." At the foot of the cross are three figures. To the proper right stands Mary, robed with head covered. Kneeling in the center is Mary Magdalen. St. John stands to the proper left of Christ, robed with long hair. His hands are clasped before him. The sculpture is mounted on a rectangular, polished rainbow granite base with a raised platform on top and a stepped bottom. Two herald angels mounted on circular pedestals flank the back of the base. Breen in memory of husband. It was dedicated on Memorial Day in 1932. The sculpture was manufactured by Daprato Statuary Company. The altar was fabricated by J. G.
