FRANCIS/By Beniamino Bufano/Please do no touch unsigned Description:  The figure of St. Francis stands with his arms stretched straight out on either side, his head bent forward slightly, and his large oval ceramic eyes cast down toward the ground. He is dressed in a long robe with the hood pulled up over his head. The front of his robe is adorned with a colorful apron containing a ceramic mosaic of twenty-nine birds perched on the branches of a large tree. The sculpture rests on an octagonal wood base that has been painted brown. A large wood and glass canopy shelters the sculpture.
