    Description: 
    A larger than life-size, naturally colored full-length figure of a commercial fisherman. He is standing with his feet apart, and holds a pipe to his mouth with his proper right hand. He is bearded and wears yellow foul-weather gear, including a hat and black boots.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was designed after Lincoln Rockwell's sign painting of the same subject. The figure's proper left hand was stolen about 1989, but was recovered and reattached. The Old Fisherman is a trademark on Brown Brothers advertising signs, lobster bibs, placemats, stationary, etc.
