H. 2 ft. x D. 1 ft. 9 in. x Diam. 18 ft. 6 in. Inscription:  (On front of base:) The J.L. Mott/Iron Wks, N.Y. unsigned Founder's mark appears. Description:  A fountain consisting of two tiers supported by a pedestal featuring three cranes, or herons, is installed in the center of a circular basin. The fountain tiers are adorned with leafy foliage and fluted edges. The cranes, or herons, are surrounded by water lilies, cattails, and other water plants. The fountain is painted silver over the original bronze paint which is partially visible. The fountain is set on a hexagonal base within a circular brick and concrete basin.
