Inscription:  (On side of bench facing World Arena, top, incised:) STEFFI & SHERI/WESTERFELD/EDI & JIMMY/SCHOLDAN/GREG & NATALIE/KELLEY/LAURIE & BILL HICKOX (On side of bench, middle, incised:) IN MEMORIAM/Feb. 16, 1961 (On side of bench, bottom, incised:) DEDICATED BY FRIENDS TO THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES WHILE ENROUTE TO THE WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS unsigned Description:  A marble bench in the shape of an ice skate. The lower part of the bench is in the shape of the blade of an ice skate. One end curves up and the other end tapers down. Two smaller rectangular shapes rest on the blade and support a horizontal slab which serves as the seat for the bench. The bench rests on a concrete slab which is flush with the sidewalk.
