    Description: 
    Bas-relief waist-length portrait of Brigham Young set in rectangular base. His proper right hand rests on top of a stack of books, while his proper left hand grips a cane. Beneath the bust is text; behind Young is a depiction of the Latter-day Saints Temple in Salt Lake City, the State Capitol, mountains, teepees, a log cabin, oxen, a covered wagon, and five small figures. On either side of the relief shaft are fountain basins near the bottom.
