    Remarks: 
    Commissioned in 1993 by the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners for the County's Public Art Program. Cost was $29,000. This first piece of public art in Brandon was controversial due to its expense and unconventional design. The base was donated by Julian Craft, and fabricated in Brandon, Florida. IAS files include related articles from the Tampa Tribune, Jan. 8, 1993, Jan. 21, 1993, and May 15, 1993; and from the St. Petersburg Times, Jan 10, 1993, Jan. 25, 1993, and Jan. 29, 1993.
