    Description: 
    Thomas McCloskey stands with his proper right hand in his pants pocket. He wears a full dress suit, including a vest and bow tie. The figure stands on an inscribed, multitiered base with a seal on the front and is located in front of the gravemarkers of Thomas McCloskey and his wife Laura.

    Remarks: 
    1994 SOS! survey report indicates sculpture was recently cleaned.
    The statue is located in front of the grave markers for Thomas McCloskey dates (Oct. 28, 1856–Dec. 26, 1914), Laura McCloskey, Thomas's wife, (died Oct. 28, 1917), and son (?) David S. McCloskey (died Nov. 14, 1893). Thomas McCloskey owned the Arc Light Saloon located on the corner of Concho and Chadbourne streets in San Angelo. Frank Teich also carved the grave markers for the McCloskey family.
