Description:
Full-length portrait of Peter Hansbrough Bell. He wears 19th century dress consisting of a suit and vest and an overcoat. His proper left hand rests on his hip. His proper right hand is held cupped in front of him. He is bearded and has a moustache. The bronze figure stands atop a pink granite truncated octagonal die supported by a square pedestal.

Remarks:
Bell was twice elected governor of Texas and served as Congressman from Texas in the United States Congress. He served in the Texas Rangers and was a colonel in the Confederate army.
