    Remarks:
The cost of the sculpture was $60,000. Baltimore Gas and Electric Company gave the sculpture to the citizens of Baltimore. This was the earliest corporate gift of sculpture to the city. On June 8, 1970, the sculpture was dedicated in Charles Center, an oval plaza that connects One Charles Plaza with the Baltimore Gas & Electric Company. Fifteen years later, in 1985, the sculpture was moved from Center Plaza to the new RESCO plant. The sculpture was given to RESCO by the Baltimore Gas & Electric Company and the citizens of Baltimore. The inscription on a nearby plaque reads: ENERGY/FRANCESCO SOMAINI/SCULPTOR/PRESENTED AS A GIFT/FROM/MAYOR WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER/THE CITIZENS OF BALTIMORE/AND/THE BALTIMORE GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY/TO/BALTIMORE RESCO/MAY 21, 1985.
