Description:
Figure of Civil War soldier standing at rest on top of a tall granite base. He holds the barrel of a rifle with both hands, the butt resting in front of his proper right foot. He wears a Confederate uniform which includes a sash worn diagonally across his chest, a belt holding a flask on his proper left hip, and a brimmed hat. Behind his proper right leg is a tree stump. The base has a relief of crossed rifles on the front and crossed flags on the back.
