Description:
A bronze sculpture of a family of four. The mother is seated and wears a long dress. The daughter is crying and leaning on her mother's proper left shoulder. The young son stands to his mother's proper right. His proper left hand is on her proper right knee and he holds a drum and drumsticks in his proper right hand. The father stands facing the mother. The mother clasps the father's proper right hand in both of her hands. The father wears a uniform and holds a brimmed hat in his proper left hand. He has a pouch at his back waist and a blanket roll over his proper left shoulder. The sculpture rests on a base with six tiers.
