    Remarks: 
    Commissioned in memory of Purcell Carroll Tiernan, probably by her husband, after her death in 1958, and imported from Italy. The Mother Seton Residence is a non-profit senior residence. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 1774-1821, founded the Sisters of Charity in the United States in 1809. She was later canonized as the first saint from the United States.
