    The painting depicts a lively allegorical landscape. In a verdant, mountainous landscape, a flock of sheep graze while a man with a spyglass and a group of figures gaze up to a city in the sky. Behind thick clouds, a city stands out and its rays of light seeming to reach the group of figures.
