Description:
This abstract sculpture consists of three separate frame-like structures. The tallest structure is a three-sided tower consisting of a triad of slender vertical poles placed in an equidistant, triangular arrangement and connected together at approximately four foot intervals by short horizontal braces that repeat the triangular configuration. The two smaller pieces have a post and lintel design. Each piece is made of two vertical steel poles at each end, topped by a horizontal frame which repeats the configuration of the tower. All three pieces were originally detailed with colored sailcloth fabric that is now gone. About two-thirds of the tower was wrapped with sections of the solid red and solid green fabric and only the top two-thirds of the post and lintel frames were covered. All that remains of the fabric are small pieces where it was originally anchored to the frame.
