    Description: 
    The horse, Roxie Highland, stands with its proper left front leg and proper right rear leg raised. The horse's head is erect with its ears pointed up and its tail raised. The sculpture is mounted atop a tapered block base.

    Remarks: 
    Roxie Highland was the Gaited Grand Champion at the Kentucky State Fair in 1930, 1933 and 1934. The sculpture was originally located in downtown Louisville and was relocated to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington in 1984.
