Located Marble Park Cemetery, Entrance, Milan, Michigan
    Provenance:
Formerly located County & Main Street, Milan, Michigan until late 1890s.
    Remarks:
The monument honors Civil War soldiers and was probably dedicated on Memorial Day, 1887. According to the Minutes of the Lucius Taylor G.A.R. Post No. 274, July 21, 1886 and Oct. 6, 1886, the monument was slated to have been sited at the junction of County and Main Street. It probably was originally sited there, and then moved to the Marble Park Cemetery in the late 1890s.
