    Remarks:
The memorial was erected by the Tyrone Division of the Pennsylvania Railroad in honor of all their men from Tyrone who served in World War I. Charles Cassidy Sr. posed for the statue. The sculpture was originally installed on a stone boulder at the Pennsylvania Railroad Station. After World War II, the sculpture was relocated to its current site, but the boulder was too heavy to move so a new base was constructed. IAS files contain a post card showing the memorial in it original site.
