    Description: 
    Cast concrete relief mural consisting of 12 panels which depict the history of Los Angeles. Scenes include Angel's flight, the red car system, the Los Angeles theater building, agriculture, industry, and founding families. The top right scene depicts workers harvesting a fruit orchard and vineyard. The top left depicts a building and a piece of fruit. Below this on the left are two full-length figures of men standing in front of a new building. They hold a blueprint between them. The panel to the right depicts a large building facade with a motor truck and horse and wagon in front. The next panel down shows several oil wells with a group of workers in the foreground. The panel to the left depicts a building with a motor car standing in front. The panel below shows a streetcar with people lined up in front. To the right, a panel depicts a building on fire. Firemen wield a firehose pointed at the fire. The panel below shows a train track and arch. To the left is a scene from Hollywood with directors shooting a movie. The bottom panels depict individuals of various ethnic backgrounds on the left and on the right a couple and a building facade. The six-story mural is located on the side of a parking garage.
