    Formerly on loan to Lux College, 2450 17th Street, San Francisco, California 94110 1938-1953.
    Remarks: 
    One of three panels painted for the 1915 Golden Gate International Exposition ("Court of the Seasons"). Following the exposition, the panels were given to the City and County of San Francisco. In 1938 the panels were loaned to Lux College (an institution dedicated to the technical education of girls, which operated in San Francisco from 1908 until 1953), and were placed on the north, south, and west walls of the third floor foyer of the school located at 2450 17th Street. When the school closed in 1953, and the building became the Academy of Stenographic Arts. For the other two panels (Spring and Seedtime), see Inventory of American Painting record 70150535.
