Sculpture: zinc, painted white; Base: concrete.

Overall: approx. H. 8 ft. x W. 4 ft.

Full-length female figure stands with a pair of cherubs at her feet on a round base. The female figure is mostly nude except for drapery. Her proper right arm is raised over her head and she holds a swath of drapery in her proper right hand, which cascades down her back.

The sculpture was part of a fountain when it was first installed in the park sometime between 1878 and 1900. It was removed from the fountain and placed elsewhere in the park about 1976. In 1978, the sculpture was severely vandalized when it was knocked over. It was reassembled by Robert Allen in Sept. 1978. During the course of the restoration, several layers of paint were stripped away.
