    Description: 
    An arch capped with an eagle is mounted on a short base with a smooth upper segment on top of a rough-hewn bottom. An urn rests under the arch on the base. A plaque rests on the ground directly in front of the sculpture.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture honors all veterans of war. The original eagle, which was stolen, was much larger and made of bronze. It was replaced by a smaller stone eagle. A plaque located on ground in front of sculpture reads: THE EAGLE ATOP THIS MEMORIAL WAS/PRESENTED IN LOVING MEMORY OF/EDWARD C. DONSTAD/MARYANNE BARTZ DONSTAD/JAMES M. DONSTAD/BY THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. IAS files contain a Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Catalog sculpture report (Rock County I. D. No. RCVM 26) prepared Nov. 1, 1991.
