Description:
Statue of a World War I soldier, facing east. The soldier stands erect and steps forward on his proper left leg. His proper left arm is slightly bent and his hand rests on his proper left leg. He holds a rifle in his proper right hand. The rifle butt rests on the base beside his proper right foot. His uniform includes a helmet with a chin strap, trousers with baggy upper legs and wrapped calfs, and laced shoes. He also wears a belt with various pouches attached, a canteen and a bayonet. The stone base has irregular horizontal grooves which simulate stacked stones. The base sits on a concrete pad.
