    Description: 
    Wooden sign with three-dimensional, high- and bas-relief carvings. On either side of the sign are free-standing bald eagles. The eagles are perched on gray columns of rock. Curled up at the bottom of each rock column is a brown sea otter. The top half of the sign is rounded. On the left is a sailing ship with white sails and a pair of ducks, flying. In the center is painted a pod of killer whales; the whale in the foreground is carved in relief. On the right of the whale is a coastal scene with mountains and forest. In the center foreground of the sign are high reliefs of salmon and crabs. The bottom section of the sign features a relief of the Whidbey Island Ferry.
