Cherishing the memories of those who fell, and with gratitude to the survivors of the nation's conflict this statue was erected by the Veterans and Patriots Organization of Aberdeen, Washington, July 4, 1926.

    Figure of a World War I infantryman advancing through the stumps and barbed wire of No Man's Land. He holds a grenade in his upraised proper right hand and a rifle in his proper left hand.
