Description:
White marble obelisk. On the front of the obelisk near the center, is a bas-relief scene depicting a slain Confederate soldier. He is lying in front of a tent and holds a sword in his proper right hand. Next to the tent is a stack of rifles. The soldier is being tended by an angel in long, flowing robes. The angel is laying a laurel wreath on the soldier's head. Behind her, on the left side of the relief is a cannon on wheels. The obelisk stands on a granite base.
