Description:
A Confederate soldier in uniform is at parade rest, holding the barrel of his rifle with both hands as the butt rests by his proper right foot. He wears a slouch hat and a haversack rests on his proper right hip. A blanket is tied over his proper left shoulder, and a bayonet and canteen rest on his proper left hip. The soldier stands atop a tall pedestal with inscriptions.
