Remarks:
The sculpture was funded by the Park City Art Foundation for $2,000. The work represents elements of Park City's landscape, buildings, and ski industry. Park City residents helped provide a setting for the sculpture. Madeline Smith, a member of the library board, led the fundraising effort and Jennifer Harrington, of the Park City Planning Commission, helped with the design. Bill Hart, Charlie Wintzer, Alpine Electric, Chaplin and his wife were among those who donated time and equipment to build the base. IAS files contain trnascription on adjacent plaque and articles from the Park Record dated October 25, 1984, and November 1, 1984.
