Inscription:  (Base center:) BROKEN DREAMS (Plaque on base front:) Dedicated to the Memory of/RONALD P. SPARGO/January 7, 1947 - August 16, 1988/"For when he shall die I will cut him up into little stars/So that all the world will be in love with the night." Description:  Two aluminum half-ovals set upright with straight edges separated, create a background for the numerous, uniform size, curvilinear right triangles piled tenuously in front. Outer, curved edges of ovals have striations etched 2 to 6 inches inward, as if edges sharpened.
