(Over door of tomb:) "WILLIAM & SUSAN/GIBSON" (On rear of tomb:) "ERECTED A.D. 1884/BODWELL & HALLOWELL GRANITE CO./MAINE/DESIGNED & CONTRACTED/BY (... illegible) & SON DAYTON O." (On right side of tomb:) "SUSAN GIBSON/BORN SEPT. 18, 1818/DIED JUNE 6, 1905" (On left side of tomb:) "WM. GIBSON, M. D./BORN JAN. 22, 1813/DIED JULY 12, 1887." Founder's mark appears.

A granite tomb is topped by a robed female figure looking up toward her proper left with her arms crossed in front of her chest. The tomb is square at the bottom with graduated sides built of blocks. The tomb is topped by a pediment adorned with acanthus leaves and an elaborately decorated octagonal column. A bronze lion on a cube guards the stairs leading to the tomb. The gravemarker is surrounded by a granite fence.
