Inscription:  (Sign on all four sides:) GEOGRAPHICAL/CENTER OF/NORTH AMERICA/ RUGBY, N.D. unsigned Description:  A rock and concrete cairn to mark the geographical center of North America, with four sides tapering up from the base to a pyramid shape on top. At the very top is a metal ball. The base has two sets of stairs which lead to the round concrete slab circling the monument.
