Medium:  Cast bronze sculpture on a stone and concrete base. Dimensions:  Sculpture: approx. H. 5 ft. x W. 3 ft.; Base: approx. H. 3 1/2 ft. x W. 3 ft. Inscription:  MATER DIVINAE/GRATIAE/ORA PRO NOBISI unsigned Description:  Virgin Mary, with her head slightly bowed and her arms raised up and out from her body, with the palms turned up. She wears a robe which drapes around her body. She steps with her proper right foot on a snake which holds an apple in its jaw. The apple represents the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Conscience. Her other foot is atop a half sphere, which rests on the base. The sculpture is bolted to the base which tapers slightly from the bottom to the top.
