    Description: 
    A figure of a fireman, dressed in full uniform consisting of a helmet, a knee-length buttoned coat, and high boots, stands holding a fire hose to his midriff with both hands. The figure is set within a low niche of a central vertical slab. The central slab is flanked by two inscribed lower slabs, each of which is decorated with a vertical relief of a floral pattern. The memorial is placed in a courtyard against a low wall and is surrounded by plantings. In front of figure is a smaller base, designed to hold a bell, now missing.

    Remarks: 
    Erected by the people of Milltown in memory of the departed members of the Milltown Fire Department. Dedicated by the Milltown Exempt Firemens Association. The original bell that was part of the sculpture was stolen in the 1970s. A replacement for the bell is only displayed on special occasions.
