T.F. McGann Sons Co., Boston Mass. (At top of plaque, raised:) 1917 - HONOR ROLL - 1919 (To the right of the figure on plaque:) DEDICATED TO THE/MEN OF PITTSBURG/WHO SERVED THEIR COUNTRY/IN THE WORLD WAR (On the scroll are listed 29 names) unsigned Founder's mark appears.
Description:
Bronze relief plaque attached to the face of a granite marker. On the left side of the plaque is a full-length female figure dressed in robe, sandals, breastplate and a World War I helmet. On her breastplate is the United States Army insignia. In her proper right hand she holds a sword, in her proper left hand she holds out a long scroll.
