    Description: 
    A figure of Mary, dressed in layered robes and a wrapped veil, stands holding the infant Christ in her proper right arm. The infant, dressed in a simple night shirt, clutches a small cross to his chest with his proper left hand and raises his proper right hand in a gesture of blessing. The statue rests on a concrete foundation.

    Formerly located St. Anselm College, Goffstown, New Hampshire until ca. 1986-1987.
    Formerly located Mount St. Mary's College, Hooksett, New Hampshire
    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was originally located at Mount St. Mary's College in Hooksett, NH. After the college closed, the piece was given to St. Anselm College where it was stored in the basement of the abbey monastery until a teacher, Mary Bagnell, asked the Abbott if St. Peter's could have it. The sculpture was given to St. Peter's in 1986 or 1987 and was initially installed on a small lawn behind the church. The sculpture was moved to its present site in 1992 or 1993.
