Commissioned 1976 by the Rijksmuseum Kroller-Muller. An earlier version, made for the exhibition Sonsbeek 71, Arnhem, the Netherlands (June-August, 1971) and later sited near the Kroller-Muller, from 1972 to 1975, was destroyed.
