    Description: 
    A mustached Civil War soldier, dressed in a military uniform consisting of a knee-length jacket, trousers, and a cap, stands at parade rest holding the barrel of a rifle with both hands; the butt of the rifle rests by his proper right foot. A tree stump-like object is placed by the soldier's proper left side. The figure is placed atop a multitiered base that is decorated on the upper portion with military insignia.
