    Description: 
    A Union Civil War soldier, dressed in a military uniform consisting of a thigh-length coat, pants, cap, and boots, stands at parade rest holding the barrel of a rifle with both hands, the butt rests in front of his proper right shoe. He wears a knapsack on his back along with a bedroll and a canteen; a bayonet hangs from his belt at his proper left side. The figure is placed atop a tiered, decorated base.
