Bald eagle is perched atop a green plinth and fieldstone base. The eagle's head is white with a yellow beak and its body and talons are brown.

Erected by the Remer Civic Club and funded with the receipts from a raffle. Stone mason Roy Ahlbom constructed the base. SOS! survey lists fabricator as F.A.S.T. Corporation and excerpt from "The Colossus of Roads," pg. 136, states that the piece was fabricated by Creative Display, Inc. IAS files include an excerpt from "The Colossus of Roads: Myth and Symbol along the American Highway," by Karal Ann Marling, (University of Minnesota, 1984).
