Sculpture: approx. H. 218 in.; Base: approx. 8 in. x 10 ft. x 14 ft. 6 in.

(Welding marks) (Plaque on front of altar:) "If we have been united with him/though likeness to his death, so shall/we be through a like resurrection"./Roman 6:5/In grateful appreciation of those donors,/whose faith in the risen Christ, whose hope/lies in his promises, and whose love for all/who now await resurrection, have enabled/the erection of this altar and monument. unsigned Founder's mark appears.

Soldered metal figures of Christ and Mary are mounted on a multilevel pedestal of Biesanz stone. Christ stands on the top level, his proper right hand upraised. Mary kneels on the level below him on his proper right side, wearing a veil with her hands together. Before Christ is a tall metal cross, painted white, that extends down the front of the pedestal. A small altar of Biensanz stone is placed before the platform on the bottom. Sculpture is mounted upon a short, rectangular base.
