    Description: 
    A soldier stands at parade rest, holding the barrel of his rifle in both hands resting its butt on the ground. The soldier wears a visored cap, a knee-length coat and a waist-length cape that is fastened at his neck and flung back from his proper right shoulder. The soldier is mounted on a rectangular column with the relief of two flags crossed at the bottom. The column ends with a two-tiered section. The monument is mounted on a square base.
