    Owner:
Town of Dennysville, West side, Old Route One, Dennysville, Maine 04628
    Remarks:
The memorial was installed by O. S. Tarbox of the Red Beach Granite Company. IAS files contain related material from Rebecca Hobart, "Dennysville 1786-1986," N.p., n.d., pg. 67, and Landmarks Observer (May-June 1981). The sculpture is often thought to be copy after Martin Milmore based on an article titled "Soldier Boy Statues" published in Landmarks Observer (May-June 1981), which vaguely notes that Maine's soldier statues are copies of Milmore's soldier figure done in 1867.
