    Description: 
    A standing figure of a Civil War soldier in a Union Army uniform, holding a rifle vertically. The rifle butt rests on the ground near his proper right foot. He holds the muzzle of the barrel in both hands, proper left hand over proper right. He stands at ease and his proper left foot is slightly forward of his proper right foot.
