Inscription:  (On lower front of base, raised:) STEGEMAN unsigned Description:  A sculpture consisting of four figures on a large mausoleum type base with dome-topped columns at each corner. A female figure, dressed in robes, sits at the top of the mausoleum holding a sundial and flowers. The figure at the front of the mausoleum is draped in robes and holds a flame in her upraised proper left hand. The female figure on the side sits with a lyre in her proper right hand and flowers in her proper left hand. The female figure on the other side sits holding a book in her proper right hand and flowers in her proper left hand. An owl stands next to her on her proper left side. Shrubs grow at the four corners over the bottom of the base.
