    Full-length figure of a uniformed soldier stands atop a tapered rough-hewn pedestal and base. The figure stands at parade rest and holds his rifle by the barrel in both hands with the butt by his proper right foot.

    Erected by the Nathan Price Post No. 283, Grand Army of the Republic. The monument was restored and rededicated in 1990 by the American Legion Post 161.
