Description:
A figure of a mustached Civil War soldier, dressed in a waist-length jacket, and a kepi, stands at parade rest holding the barrel of a rifle with both hands, the butt rests at his feet. The soldier wears a belt around his waist with a hanging bayonet in a scabbard on the proper left side and a small square cartridge pouch in front to proper left side of center. The figure is placed atop a tall multitiered base that is decorated around the perimeter of the top section with incised stars and a castellated design.
