The sculpture was made in Italy and cost $1,500. The artist either carved the sculpture using a photograph of William and Margaret Hoverstock, or possibly had the couple pose. William Hoverstock (1815-1903) and his wife Margaret (1820-1890) are buried along with William Hoverstock's parents, Jacob (1786-1868) and Phoebe (1790-1874). The vault was installed in 1989. IAS files contain an excerpt on the cemetery from an unidentified article.
