    Figure of a World War I infantryman standing at attention. He holds the barrel of a rifle in his proper right hand with the butt resting by his proper right foot. He wears a brimmed hat and a cartridge belt.

    IAS files contain copies of two telegrams notifying family of the death of Carl H. Kaiser and photographs depicting the burial of Kaiser, and a photograph of Kaiser, after which the monument was carved. SOS! questionnaire reports two dedication dates, 1922 and 1930, reported by two different sources.
