POST #317 & SIDNEY TOWNSHIP IN 1898 (Names of 37 veterans) Description:  Figure of a Civil War soldier standing at parade rest set on top of a tall limestone base. He wears a uniform consisting of a long coat, a cape buttoned at the top and a cap. He holds the barrel of a rifle with both hands. The butt of the gun rests in front on his proper right foot. His proper left foot is forward and bent at the knee.
